Provides a solution for very small areas – The Tower System is used on very small areas of land where building regulations allow the building of a tall structure on it. The amount of floors depends on the building regulations.
Two columns of palettes with a very fast elevator in between them – Each tower parking system contains two columns of palettes. One on each side of the elevator.
An elevator lifts and parks the car – The driver drives the car into a lobby and parks the car. After the driver exits the car the doors of the lobby close and the fast elevator (in which the car is standing) rises to the floor in which the computer has determined that the car is to be parked. The elevator has a sliding mechanism which pushes the palette on which the car is standing, to the right or to the left depending on where the empty space is as determined by the computer. The elevator then returns to the lobby or goes to retrieve a car.
The lobby – Most systems will provide a revolving table in the lobby so that the car will be turned to face forward when it exits.
