Bottom car isn’t affected when the upper car is parkedand/or retrieved – The bottom car is parked like in any standard parking lot. Only the upper parking space has its own separate palette (tray). If the bottom parking space is full then the driver of the second car has to activate the system to enable him/her to park in the upper parking space. When activated the tray moves out of the structure and lowers itself to the ground in front of the bottom parking space. The driver of the second car then drives its car onto the tray and exits the car. The driver activates the system again to raise the tray back in place above the bottom car. When the driver wishes to retrieve the upper car he/she activates the system again to lower the upper tray with his/her car back onto the ground. During this whole parking and retrieving process of the upper car, the bottom car isn’t moved or affected in any way.
Very easy to use – The driver activates the system by using a switch, remote control, a special key, a digital card, a mobile app or any other type of user friendly operating system.
A safe system – The system automatically stops once it detects any obstacles in its way (for example a person walking underneath the moving tray). Once the obstacle is removed the system will resume. The system alerts passersby that it is active by sounding an alarm and flashing lights. The system is a safe and stable system. The system complies with the standard noise codes.
Above or Underground – This type of system can be used in above ground parking lots and/or in underground parking lots. (Note that the height of the underground parking garage may have to be higher than that of a standard underground parking garage).
