General Description

  • Increases the number of parking spaces – These systems multiply the number of parking spaces in the designated area. Most systems double or triple the number of cars. The Multi Floor System may contain 4 or more floors.
  • Stand Alone – These parking systems operate as single units that aren’t part of an integrated parking garage or a collection of parking units connected together.
  • The system lifts and lowers palettes (trays) – The system lifts and lowers the palette (tray) of the parked car/s to enable other cars to park and/or to retrieve a parked car. In some of the simple systems the bottom car has to be removed before the upper car can be retrieved. In other systems an elevator lowers the bottom cars into a pit to enable the upper car to be retrieved. Note that in the “Independent” Avoid System the bottom car isn’t affected when the upper car is parked and/or retrieved.
  • Above or Underground – These types of systems can be installed in above ground parking lots and/or in underground parking garages. (Note that the height of the underground parking garage may have to be higher than that of a standard underground parking garage).
